Epilogue
One Day Later... On Morph

"So, catching anything?" Buzz Lightyear asked his buddy.

Both he and Ty Parsec were sitting in a boat on a lake, just outside Buzz's cabin on Morph. They had fishing gear on and poles in their hands. The duo were sitting, waiting for some fish to bite. Apparently, the fish weren't in a biting mood today.

Ty shook his head, lifting the brim of his fishing hat out of his eyes. "Nope, you having any luck?" he asked. "You're a better fisherman than I am."

Buzz chuckled, he liked it when people recognised his talents. "Well, true as that is, even I haven't caught anything yet."

His friend nodded. "Maybe we're just using the wrong bait."

"Hmm, maybe," Buzz agreed. "Reel 'er in and we'll try something different."

Ty reeled his line in and brought it into the boat, turning around to face Buzz. Buzz was busy rummaging through his tackle box for a more appetizing-looking fish bait. As Ty waited, he decided to speak up. "Hey, pal?"

"Mm hmm?" he replied, still focusing on choosing a lure.

"I'm sorry."

Buzz raised a brow, looking up at him. "For what?"

Ty shrugged lightly. "I was wrong," he began. "I've been angry at you not paying attention to me. You know, never calling me and whatnot..." He took a lure Buzz handed him and put it on the hook. "I thought you were just making a whole bunch of excuses to avoid me... That maybe you didn't care to be friends anymore, since you had Team Lightyear now and everything."

He shook his head. "I don't know. Quite frankly, I was beginning to think you were just being a jerk... But, after being Buzz Lightyear for a day, I think I understand why you hardly ever had the time. In fact, I understand alot more things about you than I ever did." He looked up at his friend. "And I apologise - for everything."

Buzz smiled, patting his friend on the arm. "That's okay. No harm done," he reassured him, pausing for a moment. "But... you know, I suppose I owe you an apology too, buddy."

Ty's brows rose. Was Buzz Lightyear actually going to apologise to him? "Really?" he asked, trying not to sound as surprised as he felt.

"Yeah," Buzz smiled a bit. "You're right, Ty. I haven't been as good of a friend as I should have been. I should have called you, or invited you to join us at Cosmos or something." He put the bait on his hook and shugged his shoulder lightly. "I guess I just got distracted after Warp left... I'm not quite sure what happened." He looked at his friend and put a hand on his shoulder. "But I promise I'm not gonna let it happen again."

Ty smiled, clearly appreciative of his words. "Well..." he replied with a pause. "I guess we're even now, huh?"

Buzz nodded, turning back to the lake and cast his line. "Yeah, I'd say so," he replied cheerfully. "So, what's on your schedule for tomorrow?"

Ty shrugged casually, casting out his own line. "Nebula wanted to meet with me to discuss some sort of 'military tribunal' thing next week," he said, as if he didn't care much for it right now. "He's not taking too kindly to the Wirewolf reports. But, eh, I suppose I'll worry about it when the time comes.... So.. Have you spotted any fish?"

Buzz's brows rose as he nodded. Military tribunals were never a positive thing. He couldn't blame Ty for wanting to change the subject. "Nope, don't see any," he replied lightly, staying off the topic.

"Buzz! Buzz!"

Buzz and Ty both turned toward the voice. Booster was standing on the shore waving a radio in the air. "What is it, Booster?" Buzz called back.

"Did you hear the news?"

Buzz exchanged a musing grin with Ty, then turned back to Booster. "No, not recently."

"It's a little hard to pick up a reception with our fishing poles," Ty called back jokingly, holding up his pole.

Buzz chuckled a bit, next to him. "What about it?"

"Zurg escaped before they got him to PC-7!" he continued.

"Blast!" Buzz said, punching the air disappointedly. "I was hoping we had him this time..." He shook his head silently for a moment, then turned back to his teammate. "Thanks for the update Booster!"

Booster smiled and waved. "No problem! Hope you catch some fish!"

"Yeah, or we're gonna have to make a trip to the grocery store," Mira added, looking up from the book she was reading in a lawn chair.

Buzz pointed a finger valliantly into the air. "We'll catch one, if my name's not Buzz Lightyear!" he assured them. "Even if we have to stay here all afternoon."

"This is gonna be a long day," Ty smirked.

Buzz grinned and punched his friend in the arm. "Oh yeah? Last one to catch a fish does the dishes!" he challenged.

"You're on!" Ty shot back, intently putting his focus back on the bobber floating on the surface of the lake.

There was nothing like a little competition to get the two men motivated. Mira just smiled and shook her head, turning back to reading her book, while Booster and XR played a game of badmitten nearby.

Meanwhile, out in space, in a small Zurg ship was the Evil Emperor himself. He glared out at Capital Planet in the distance and shook a fist. "You may have foiled my plot this time, Lightyear! But next time, I'll come up with an even bigger... better-er... best... GAH! English wasn't my strong point..."

"Your Evilness," said a Grub driving the little ship. "Where do you want to go?"

Zurg pointed a finger into the air. "Back to Planet Z, Grub!" he ordered. "I must formulate my next evil plan. And this one will work!"

"Ahem, uh, isn't that what you said last time? And the time before that?"

"Details! Details!" Zurg complained. "I said this one will work!"

"Yes, Evil Emperor," the Grub trembled, rushing back to drive the ship.

Zurg then plopped down in the passenger seat and pulled down a TV screen from the ceiling as the ship flew off into the far reaches of space.

"Now, where's my remote?"
